Time to get the bike out
Today I have consumed 1869 calories. I seem to be getting things right especially as I track at the end of each day, rather than as I go. This is because I want to eat a bit more intuitively and listen to what my body needs rather than worry about numbers and what I’m ‘allowed’.
Breakfast was good. I have my favourite again – greek yogurt with honey, chia, sunflower, pumpkin seeds, oats and banana.
I needed a snack this morning so had a Nak’d Cocoa Delight bar. Lunch was a quick photo taken on the iPhone. A multi seed bagel, organic houmous and mango slices.
In the afternoon I had a yogurt Eat Natural Bar. I think I will stop or reduce these as I find them a bit sweet and they are more calories than I would like to spend on a snack.
After work I headed for my monthly sports therapy appointment for my shoulder and associated issues. It was a good session, which still involved some pain but also saw lots of improvement from previous sessions. Still some work to do but I am making progress.
Then I headed home and decided as it was a nice evening I would head out on my newly repaired bike. A pre ride snack of almonds and a brazil nut was needed.
The sky looked like this:
I had to lift my bike out between my parents cars as they decided to forget there is room at the sides and park really close to each other.
By the time I was ready to go and meet Sian the sky looked like this in the other direction.
I decided to go anyway as Sian and I had already decided to meet, but on the way I had to stop and take a photo of the rainbow!
Luckily it didn’t rain so I got to eat my dinner outside again. I had a jacket potato with tuna and garlic and herb soft cheese (random but it worked) and a salad on the side.
Accompanied by a lovely cold glass of sparkling water.
Happy Christmas! 😉
