Cycling Along the Sea Front

Today has been a good day.

I had a nice lie in then a nice breakfast of banana, almond butter and jam on toast.

I then sat down and read my travel books to decide on what flight I should book for my Work Canada Trip.

I then sat down with the laptop to research flights. With a great view to keep ,me company 🙂

My battery was then running and I didn’t want to sit at the table. I decided to take a break and go buy a new portable hard drive (for travelling of course). However I got distracted by other shops and cam back with a bit more than just a hard drive.

Can’t wait to read the books! These are the first ones, part from the travel ones that I’ve bought since getting the Kindle. It felt good to look at actual books again.

I then sorted out my flights and insurance. I’m now all ready to go in January 🙂 I celebrated with a peppermint tea.

For lunch/dinner I grilled up some vegetables and halloumi cheese.  Simple but so good.

As it was such a lovely evening out I decided to up my cycling. I went all the way along the front to Poole. 10 mile return trip! It felt great to be out on my bike on the sea front.  It also helped that the route is totally flat 😉

Also I caught sight of the balloon that goes up in Bournemouth. My parents had said it was working again but this is the first time I have ever seen it up.

That’s it for today. I’ll be back to the food tracking tomorrow 🙂

New Technology

This week has been about making decisions. The main one being delaying my Canada trip for a few more months.

Because of this I decided I would go and finally buy myself an Apple computer and also upgrade my phone contract. So a few weeks a go I went to the nearest Apple store to ask a few questions. First let me say do not visit an Apple store on a Saturday afternoon especially if you want to actually speak to someone. I went in for a look around and then went off shopping for an hour. The decided I really did want to speak to a real person so went back and figured out the online queuing system 🙂 I’m totally technology savvy!

I was so glad I hadn’t taken my credit card on that trip as it would have felt like an impulse buy. So I spent almost 2 weeks thinking it over and looking at the finances and getting confirmation that I would not be going to Canada in September when I thought (I would not want to travel with a brand new computer). The I went back this week and bought myself a Macbook Pro and the iPhone 4 🙂 and I’m very happy about it!

To go with my new technology I also bought myself a new case for each 🙂 Got to set my own stamp on things 🙂

It’s going to take a bit of getting used to but I’m already loving the Macbook and am glad I’ve upgraded to the iPhone 4.

I really cannot wait to go travelling now as this computer is so much more portable and once I get used to blogging on it everything will be fantastic 🙂
